Dougherty County Family Literacy Council, Inc. doing business as Family Literacy Connection is a 501c3 organization in Albany/Dougherty County, Georgia and is guided by a local board of directors.  Family Literacy Connection has served low income, low literacy families since 2002.  Our approach targets the whole family with educational services of an intensity and duration to make a sustainable difference in the family. Our vision is for all families and children to live in safe, stable, successful homes and to be engaged in community. Our mission is to help disadvantaged families gain stability, self-sufficiency and success through a cluster of educational programs that target the whole family.
